A highly skilled Engineer will mix and/or master your music. All of our engineers have worked with Grammy-winning artists and have vast experience working with music of every genre. We’ve completed over 3000 (and counting) projects to date.
We always do a master sample for free, and if you like what you hear, you can choose to move forward by paying through our safe and secure website. We accept all major credit cards via Stripe, a leading online payment platform used by 100,000+ businesses. After payment is made, you will be redirected to a page where you can upload your files. Once the music is mixed or mastered, high quality WAV files will be uploaded to your account on this website, available for download for 30 days.
Yes. In fact, we offer 25% off mastering for any client who does mixing with us first. If you're just looking for mastering, you can check out our online mastering service here.
If there are tracks where you have a specific effect that really defines the tone of that track, go ahead and print the plug-ins to the track and we will work off of that. However, if you have any corrective EQ or your own compression on the track, we ask that you take those off and give us the dry track. We have a ton of options with our outboard gear and plug-ins that we will use to process the track. Plus, for each mixing project, we require you to upload your rough mix of the project so we can use it as a reference. That way, we can listen to what you are going for and take it to the next level!
Sometimes a video says it best. Check out this video from our Chief Engineer, Blake.
The platform we’ve designed has been produced and tested by highly skilled developers. In fact, it is the first of its kind! We custom built the upload platform for you and can’t wait for you to try it. Check out this video that explains the upload process in depth.
Because we charge “per track, not per song,” the only reason you would want to reduce your track count is to reduce the total cost to fit your budget. That is 100% okay with us! We recommend checking out this video on how to prep your files for Stem Mastering. The video is about mastering, but it’s the same consolidation concept that we recommend for mixing.
Because mixing is arguably one of the most critical and diverse parts of the music production process, we have the unique challenge of providing you with excellent mixes as well as a prompt turnaround time. We strive for excellence in quality regardless of the size of the project, but the turnaround time varies. Here are some general estimates to give you an idea of how long your project will take:
Mixing is arguably the most in-depth process of the music production phase. We offer the highest quality online mixing service, and we understand what it takes to make a radio-ready mix. However, you may be asking yourself, “Isn’t mixing just adjusting the volume levels of individual tracks?” Of course, that is a big part of mixing, but it’s by no means the entire process. Mixing also includes: automation, panning, EQ, compression, and effects. That list is hardly exhaustive, but it highlights some of the crucial elements that go into the production of a great mix. It takes each one of those elements (and more), plus a Grammy-winning mixing engineer to make your song sound pristine and radio ready. We recommend checking out this video for an in depth explanation of our mixing process.
Like mastering, you will receive an e-mail from us with a link for download the moment your project is complete, and you can get an update at any time by sending us an e-mail.
When we pull your mix up on our console, we assume that the performance and execution is exactly how you want it, so we stay away from “surgical” work. However, if we hear things that need a small amount of timing or pitch correction, we will do whatever it takes to correct the issue. In addition, if you want us to fully quantize instruments and pitch each vocal, we are open to doing so if you let us know before you start your project. We will work out a custom invoice for your specific needs...fitting your budget and your timeline of course.
For mastering, we offer unlimited free revisions. That will never change. For mixing, we offer 3 rounds of revisions. Most of our clients love our first take on the mix! Because we only produce excellent work, very rarely do we have an artist or producer ask for their money back. We have found that almost all of the clients who ask for refunds are attempting to abuse the system and have already released the work we have done. It is for this reason we don’t hand out refunds. Luckily, between the free sample track, unlimited revisions for mastering, 3 rounds of revisions for mixing, and 100% satisfaction guarantee, we have provided everything you need to receive an excellent product and service from us. We will always make sure that you are pleased and will do everything we can to treat you the way we would want to be treated!
You certainly can, and if you are happy with what you have, that’s great! But take a moment and consider whether you fall into one of these categories...if you do, that’s exactly why we’re here!
If you resonate with any of these, we are here to help you. If you are ready to finally take your music to the next level, start a project with us and we guarantee you will be glad you did!
In order to provide the best service, we employ a team of people to be in touch with you throughout your project. And of course your engineer will be on that team, reachable at any time via the comments section of your projects or via e-mail (email@example.com).
We offer 3 rounds of revisions for each mixing project. Once you receive your mixes back, the majority of the time, our clients proceed with the mix and move onto mastering. However, because this is such a creative process, we offer 3 rounds of revisions for each mixing project. Fortunately, our unique online platform makes the process of revision intuitive and simple.
